RUBBER PARTS

Whenever you are working near a rubber part I recommend you to change it. It is about the performance of and the noise from the car. Rubber become hard over time or spoiled of oil.
Natural rubber is expensive,, filling compound is cheap and I think the manufacturers in England add an extra bucket of filling to have a better profit.
When we started on rubber parts I brought a set of original used parts. We had an analysis  and got a recipe of the compound and now we are making the correct parts as we can buy the correct compound.
Especially the engine mounts is important for reducing the noise. Charles Ware used to market them as “superior quality”. Actually it is “original quality”.
If you Think you have much noise from the engine it is easy to change the engine mounts. With a jack under the engine you take the presure off the mounts, unscrew and replace with ours. Surely you will notice the difference.
